President
Rev. Fr. Innocent Apeh is the Founder and President of Oma HelpingHands Foundation, a vision born from compassion, faith, and a deep understanding of human struggle.
Growing up in rural Nigeria, Fr. Oma witnessed firsthand the hardship of families who lacked access to clean water, education, and basic healthcare. Poverty nearly ended his own education, but through perseverance and grace, he rose above those challenges. Those early experiences planted in him a lifelong desire to reach back and lift others from similar circumstances.
Driven by that calling, Fr. Oma established Oma HelpingHands Foundation in Nigeria—beginning as a small act of service and growing into a recognized charitable organization transforming lives across communities. Under his leadership, the Foundation brings hope where it’s most needed.
As both a priest and a humanitarian, Fr. Oma believes that true faith expresses itself through service. His leadership blends compassion with accountability, vision with action, and spirituality with practical impact.
For Fr. Oma, Oma HelpingHands Foundation is more than a charity—it is a mission of love. It stands as proof that one person’s compassion can grow into a movement that restores dignity and transforms entire communities for generations to come.

Vice President
Laura Belcher serves as Vice President of Oma HelpingHands Foundation, bringing both her leadership experience and her heart for humanity.
She believes compassion is not just an emotion—it’s action—and she channels that belief daily by helping the Foundation grow its reach, deepen its transparency, and strengthen trust with donors and supporters across the United States.
Beyond her professional role, Laura’s purpose is deeply personal. As the mother of a child with special needs, she understands what it means to face challenges with courage, faith, and hope. This experience has given her a profound empathy for children and families living with disabilities and has shaped her passion for inclusion, dignity, and equal opportunity.
Through Oma HelpingHands Foundation, Laura helps turn compassion into real change—bridging hearts and resources from the U.S. to communities in Nigeria. She works closely with the President and fellow board members to ensure every project reflects the Foundation’s mission of service, empowerment, and lasting impact.
For Laura, this is a calling. She believes that when we lift others, we rise together, and that every act of kindness can create a ripple of hope that reaches farther than we imagine.

Secretary
Valerie serves as Secretary, ensuring that governance, compliance, and communication processes are effective. With experience in administration and nonprofit management, she keeps records, coordinates board activities, and supports decision-making with attention to detail. She helps the U.S. chapter demonstrate transparency to supporters and partners.
She also takes part in advocacy and awareness, with a focus on education and disability inclusion. Valerie believes progress comes when compassion is backed by structure. She helps the board run smoothly, keeping projects on track with the foundation’s mission of lifting vulnerable communities and creating change that lasts.

Treasurer
Clint serves as Treasurer to provide financial oversight: watching and ensuring that donor resources are managed with integrity and transparency to the latter. His years of experience in financial management have taught him how to keep the books steady. Donors trust him because they know their support reaches families in Nigeria.
Beyond the numbers, Clint works with the board to set out financial plans that cover both immediate relief and future growth. Clint is deeply motivated by the foundation’s mission. He is committed to using his skills to help create lasting opportunities for families in need, especially in education and economic empowerment.
Oma HelpingHands Foundation helps communities thrive through education, healthcare, clean water, and vocational training. We support children, empower women, and strengthen health and livelihood systems to promote self-reliance.
We remain transparent, accountable, and committed to lasting impact.
Together, we transform lives, inspire hope, and build brighter futures for children, women, and families in need.
